How do I enter the competition?

Entering is easy! Simply submit your best photo (featuring a human element) or video (capturing any aspect of your adventure) from an Inspiring Vacations tour taken in 2023, 2024, or 2025.

What is the prize?

There are two prize categories:

  • Monthly Prize – One winner each month from February through to November will receive a $500 AUD Inspiring Vacations travel voucher.
  • Grand Prize – At the end of the competition, 11 winners will be selected for an exclusive 12-Day Sri Lanka Winners Tour (flights included from selected cities).
Is the competition open to anyone?

The competition is open to residents of Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada who are 18 years or older and have previously travelled on an Inspiring Vacations tour in the last two years.

💡 Canadian entrants should note that the Grand Prize does not include return flights from Canada. Canadian winners must arrange travel at their own expense to the nearest eligible departure city or directly to Sri Lanka.

Can I submit more than one entry?

Yes! You can submit one photo and one video per month—but you’re not required to submit both. Each month is a new opportunity to win!

Just be sure each entry is unique (no duplicates from month to month) and that you have not submitted your entries to any previous Inspiring Vacations competitions. 

What are the submission dates for each month?
The monthly prize submission periods are:
    • February 1 – February 28, 2025
    • March 1 – March 31, 2025
    • April 1 – April 30, 2025
    • May 1 – May 31, 2025
    • June 1 – June 30, 2025
    • July 1 – July 31, 2025
    • August 1 – August 31, 2025
    • September 1 – September 30, 2025
    • October 1 – October 31, 2025
    • November 1 – November 17, 2025
When will the winners be announced?

From March through to October, monthly winners are announced on the 9th of the month. November's monthly winner will be announced on the 21st of November.

The 11 Grand Prize winners are chosen after the competition closes. The top 20 entries will be shortlisted on November 25, 2025, and the winners will be selected through community voting and Inspiring Vacations judges.

All winners will be announced on our website and contacted directly via email on the 15th of December 2025.
